About FinWise

FinWise is a free collection of financial calculators built for India — EMI, SIP, Income Tax, FD/RD, GST, PPF, EPF, Salary, Gratuity, HRA, NPS and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana.

What we do

Each calculator uses the relevant standard financial formula or rule set used for the calculation — reducing-balance EMI, annuity-based SIP maturity, the current Union Budget tax slabs, and government-notified interest rates for PPF/EPF/SSY. There is no build step, no account, and no server: every calculation runs entirely in your browser, so your numbers never leave your device.

Why we built it

Financial planning tools in India are often locked behind logins, cluttered with unrelated products, or use outdated tax slabs. FinWise exists to be fast, free, and correct — nothing else.

Accuracy commitment

Interest rates and tax slabs used across FinWise are reviewed against current government notifications (PPF, EPF, SSY rates are revised quarterly/annually by the Government of India; income tax slabs follow the applicable Union Budget).
